i'm using an unfamiluar washing machine and i'm wondering where is the best place to put the washing powder so it spreads to all the clothes?
in this machine, you can lift out the center tube piece under where you put fabric softener, should you put washing powder in there? or do i just put it on the top layer of clothes themselves?
i worry that not all my clothes are being washed properly underneath the top layer of clothes.

depends on your top loader...read the manual and the directions for your laundry powder
most laundry soaps (liquid or powder) tell you to fill the machine with water before adding the soap...then you just put it on top
puting it directly on the cloths can leave some residue on just those clothes (enough soap will desolve to clean all the clothes)
